Jonathan Seawell

Assistant Principal for K-8 & Director of Technology

BS in Elementary Education

My name is Jonathan Seawell, and this will be my 13th year at STARS. My journey here began as a 2nd grade teacher, a role that allowed me to cultivate a strong foundation in early childhood education. I then transitioned to teaching 5th grade, where I further developed my teaching skills and connected with students on a deeper level. For the last five years, I have served as a specials teacher, focusing on technology and handling IT, while also taking on the responsibility of driving a bus. These diverse roles have given me a broad perspective on the educational needs and logistical challenges within our school community.

This year, I am excited to transition to the role of Assistant Principal for K-8. I look forward to applying my extensive experience and passion for education to this new leadership position, where I can support both teachers and students in achieving their best. On a personal note, I am also a proud parent of two children who attend STARS, one in 8th grade and the other in 5th grade. Being both an educator and a parent within this community gives me a unique insight and commitment to the success and well-being of our school.
