This week marks the kickoff of the STARS 2025–2026 Boosterthon, an exciting school fundraising campaign designed to bring our community together while supporting a meaningful need across our campus.
As one of the growing charter schools in our region, STARS is focused on continuously improving the daily experience for students and families. This year’s campaign is centered on enhancing transportation by increasing bus capacity, improving morning drop-off efficiency, and reducing the number of cars on campus each day.
These improvements directly impact safety, organization, and how each school day begins. A smoother arrival process helps students start their day calm, focused, and ready to learn.
Families are encouraged to connect with their child’s teacher to register and begin participating in the campaign. As students earn points throughout the Boosterthon, they will have the opportunity to log in, track their progress, and select prizes along the way.
To add even more excitement, this year’s campaign includes a special incentive: one winning student will receive a free family stay at Great Wolf Lodge. It’s a fun and memorable reward that brings an extra layer of energy and engagement to the entire experience.
The campaign will lead up to two exciting school-wide celebration events on May 1:
- K–4 Fun Run
- 5th–8th Color Run
These events are a highlight of the year and a chance to celebrate the collective effort of students, families, and staff.
School fundraising campaigns like this play an important role in helping charter schools continue to grow and adapt to the needs of their communities. At STARS, that means investing in systems and resources that make a real difference in daily operations and student experience.
If you have any questions or need assistance getting started, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher or contact Mr. Ribet at aribet@starscharter.org.
Thank you for supporting STARS and helping us build a smoother, safer start to each school day.
